The self-test for periodontitis detection

Periodontitis is the number one dental disease among adults.

Periodontitis, often referred to as periodontal disease, is a chronic inflammatory condition of the supporting structures of the teeth, which can lead to extensive, often irreversible damage. In Germany, approximately ten million people are affected by severe periodontitis. The issue is that the disease typically develops unnoticed over many years, as symptoms often go unrecognized. As a result, necessary dental treatment is sought only in advanced stages, making therapy more complicated and worsening the prognosis for tooth preservation.

Drawing from our extensive experience in dentistry with over 26,000 patients, and particularly with the expertise of health expert Eszter Jopp, we have developed a self-test for periodontitis. This test will help you assess your risk for periodontal disease. It consists of 22 questions, with a maximum score of 112 points. Your score will help you understand how serious your risk of periodontitis is and what measures you should take to maintain or improve your dental health.

After completing the self-test, we will get back to you shortly via email with the evaluation and results.

Tip: Health expert Eszter Jopp will soon publish her new book, "Living with Periodontitis: A Practical Guide for Your Oral Health." In this comprehensive work, you will learn everything about early detection, prevention, and modern treatment options for periodontitis. But the book offers much more than just medical facts: Eszter Jopp also shares practical advice on how to lead a fulfilling life despite health challenges. An essential guide for anyone looking to sustainably improve their oral health. Stay tuned and don't miss the release!
